Philadelphia Planning Commission approves Live! Hotel & Casino Philadelphia master plan
After having received the second and final full scale casino license for Philadelphia from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on November 18, 2014, the Philadelphia Planning Commission today approved the proposed master project plan for the facility to be known as Live! Hotel & Casino Philadelphia.
The Planning Commission approved the $500 million project with the caveat that future City Council actions could modify certain elements including zoning that the Council must relax to fit the project into the “special purpose entertainment” zone.
